Experience the BikeBuildHome500 ride

DATES

July 14 - 19, 2026

SPONSORING HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AFFILIATE

Habitat for Humanity, South Central MN

HOUSING

Bethany Lutheran College, 700 Luther Drive, Mankato, MN 56001

ROUTES OVERVIEW

Each day's ride will consist of a loop. Rides will usually provide two length options. Route info coming soon!

BUILD OPPORTUNITY

Our riders will have an opportunity to work at a Habitat for Humanity home in the Mankato area on Thursday, the 16th (work instead of riding).

COST

5 - Day Riders: December - $275; January - $290; February - $305; March - $320; April - $335; May - $350

Daily Riders: One Day - $75; Two Days - $150; Three Days - $225

RIDING PART-TIME

You may register to ride 1, 2, 3, or 4 days, if that is all that will fit your schedule. Cost is $75 per day. Housing and meals are included.

FUNDRAISING

We expect riders to raise at least $500, or part-time riders to raise a minimum of $100 a day that they ride. It is wonderful to note that some of our riders (who have ridden for MANY YEARS in the BBH500 and its predecessor ride, the Habitat 500, raise $5,000 + annually). You direct what affordable housing non-profit you money goes to...although most of it goes to the Habitat affiliates, and much goes to the local hosting affiliate, this year, to Habitat for Humanity, South Central MN.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The ride needs volunteers to help with rest stops, driving a SAG vehicle, route marking, bicycle mechanics, food preparation, etc. You can register as a local volunteer by contacting Habitat for Humanity, South Central MN at 507-388-6682. Or, you can click the Registration Link to volunteer as a 5-day volunteer who needs housing, just like the riders do. We ask that those 5-day volunteers from out of town consider pay the same registration fee as the riders do, as housing costs are significant.
